Your information, handled carefully

Privacy Policy

Effective 26 September 2026

Plain-language summary: Stayra is built to minimise collection. We do not sell your personal information. Mobile-usage analysis is designed to happen on your device; limited records may be handled when you activate Premium, contact us, make a purchase, or voluntarily share diagnostics.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Stayra Android application and the public website at stayra.ng. Stayra is provided by Ayodeji Adeola Olaniyan (“Stayra”, “we”, “us”). You must be at least 18 years old to use Stayra. We do not knowingly offer Stayra to or collect personal information from anyone under 18.

2. Information we handle

3. Android permissions

Stayra may ask for Android usage-access or network-usage permissions so it can calculate mobile-data insights. You grant these permissions in Android settings and can revoke them at any time. Revoking access may stop related insights from working. Stayra does not use this permission to read the content of your messages, photos or calls.

4. Why we use information

We use limited information to provide requested features, verify Premium access, respond to support requests, secure the service, meet accounting and legal obligations, and improve reliability where you have voluntarily supplied diagnostics. We rely on performance of our agreement with you, your consent where required, legitimate security and service interests, and applicable legal obligations.

5. Sharing

We may share only what is necessary with infrastructure, payment, email/support and professional service providers working for us; with authorities when legally required; or in a business reorganisation subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party behavioural advertising.

6. Retention

Stayra has not confirmed the retention periods or disposal procedures for the server-held records below. The periods previously shown here are not verified operating rules. This interim section will be replaced with evidenced periods and procedures after owner review.

8. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information handled. No system is completely secure. Some providers may process information outside Nigeria; where this happens, we use safeguards required by applicable law.
